Grease Lubrication System

Manufacture grease lubrication system, to supply lubricant (oil or grease)in even metered quantity, irrespective of pipelines and back- pressure to all points in a machine or plant through a single point, of a distributor block, situated at a convenient assessable position driven by means of a simple grease gun, or their special high pressure lubrication pump or any hydraulic line of pump.

Progressive Distributor System

Systematrix Engg. Services manufactures indigenous LUBRISYS Progressive Distributor blocks for distributing oil or grease.

The LUBRISYS Progressive Distributor blocks (also known  as Divider Valves) are used  for distributing oil or grease in even, metered quantity, to all lubrication points in a machine or plant,  These Progressive Distributor blocks gets the lubricant feed from a pump (manual/ pneumatic/ motorised) or a simple grease gun and distributes it to the hard- to-reach, far away points, irrespective of the back pressure and piping length.

Each block has internal plungers which operate sequentially due to pressure of feed lubricant and deliver it to the corresponding outlets. The LUBRISYS Progressive Distributor blocks are self monitoring. An indicating pin makes it possible to identify when the block is in operation without removal of piping. This pin can be coupled with proximity /limit switch for achieving different functions like monitoring the system through an Electronic Controller, counting of strokes, etc.

The LUBRISYS Progressive Distributor blocks can be arranged in series as Primary and Secondary Divider Valves depending on the location and number of lubricating points. The distributor blocks are available with outlets from 2 to 28 per block. Vast range of Metering Units makes it possible to design and install the lubrication system according to the customer’s requirement. 

Apart from the advantages of the LUBRISYS Centralised Lubrication System additional benefits of using the LUBRISYS Progressive System are :

  • Economical : It does not require special pumps to operate the block, a simple grease gun can also be used.
  • Self Monitoring : If any point does not receive grease/oil due to any problem, the system will stall and a feedback through the indicator pin is provided as the indicator pin will not move.

When the points to be lubricated are lesser, a Single distributor Block (also called Divider Valves) can be used.  However, when the points to be lubricated are many or the points are far away from each other, then both the Primary and Secondary LUBRISYS  Distributor Blocks/Divider Valves are used.  The Primary LUBRISYS  Distributor  block/Divider Valve  receives the lubricant from the pump and distributes it equally into the inlet of the Secondary Distributor block/divider Valve, which in turn distributes the received lubricant (Grease or Oil) equally into the lubricating points, thereby making optimum use of lubricant.



Generally, the Primary has a bigger flow say 0.6 cc/stroke and the secondary LUBRISYS progressive block has a relatively smaller flow say 0.2cc/stroke.  The design of the lubrication system is done considering the flow of the Primary and Secondary Progressive Distributor Block/Divider Valves.

One of the main advantage of  LUBRISYS Centralised Lubrication System is that it makes proper use of lubricant and hence it saves precious petroleum products.

Single Shot Systems

Majority of machines require small doses of oil to lubricate various parts of the machine. In this lubrication system, a small power pack called the LUBRISYS  lubricating  pump (Electric /Manual or pneumatic drive) is used. Here, the use of LUBRISYS metering cartridges (sometimes called ‘injectors’) allows a maximum number of points to be lubricated in very small quantities and in a systematic manner, so that lubrication is achieved regularly, in small quantities and with better frequency Hence optimum usage of lubricant is achieved, with no spillage of oils, plus the frequent lubrication ensures better life in comparison to conventional manual lubrication.

Dual Line Metering Dosers/ Blocks

Dual Line Metering Dosers/ Blocks

Systematrix Engg Services manufactures a complete range of LUBRISYS  Dual Line Systems.
 
The dual line system consist of a Pump of  high flow and high pressure to cater to many lubrication points. The main line from the pump is joined to the reversing valve wherein two outlet from the valve leads to the two main lines of distributor blocks that are arranged in series.

When one line is ON, pressure is developed and all the points of one side of  LUBRISYS Metering Dosers/ Distributor blocks is lubricated. The spools in the distributor move to their  extreme position. A pressure is developed as all spools have moved to the end position, and cannot move further.  This pressure forces the reversing valve to change the direction of the main line and makes the other line operational. At this stage the pressure from the first line is released through the tank line of the reversing valve. The same happens when pressure is achieved in the second line.

The common applications for this type of system are conveyors, overhead cranes, steel industries etc.

A Dual line system consist of LUBRISYS Pump, LUBRISYS Reversing Valve/Changeover Valve, LUBRISYSElectronic Controller or a LUBRISYS Manual Pump with LUBRISYS Metering Dosers

Systematrix Engg. Services manufactures LUBRISYS Change over valves (also known as pressure reversing Valve).

These valves are used in dual line systems to change from one line to another line when the preset adjusted pressure is achieved and lubrication to the earlier line is completed

Upon reaching the desired pressure in line II the lubricant is again given to line I.

This continues in sequence & lubrication is achieved to all points of the system automatically with only one pressure line from the pump.

While changing the grease or oil goes through the tank line, hence this valve can also be used to operate a cylinder back & forth automatically.

Compact Electrical Pump

Electric Pumps are most easy for the operator and hence are becoming more popular. Unlike Manual Pump they do not require any force for operation and unlike Pneumatic Pump it does not require any compressor or Solenoid Valve for its operation It operates on Electricity which is freely available to all.

The Compact Electric Pump makes it possible to mount the same on a machine like any other pump and is a boon to the machine industry.

The specification are 0.25cc per stroke and pump speed of 24 rpm. This pump can develop a pressure upto 400 bar.Special Pumps as per flow and pressure requirement are available on request.

As electricity is readily available, Electric Pumps  are preferred over other types of Pumps. The LUBRISYS Electric Pump  is with single outlet which has a huge flow 14cc/stroke, coupled with 30 rpm motor it gives about 450cc/min flow.  The Pump can be fitted with a adjustable valve, so that the flow can be reduced and  adjusted, as per the requirement. The manifold given along with pump has an inbuilt relief valve, which releases the excess grease back to the container.

The LUBRISYS Electric Pump can be used for  Progressive Distributor System, making use of the LUBRISYS  Adjustable Distributor and LUBRISYS   Standard Progressive Distributor Blocks to have the exact amount of lubricant in a given point.

It is useful for a Dual Line System due to it’s high flow and high pressure capabilities, The manifold has a slot (female threading) for the return line from the LUBRISYS  Reversing Valve/Change Over Valve.

Dual Line Pump

Systematrix Engg Services offers LUBRISYS Manual Dual Line Pump for small machines and cranes.

The LUBRISYS Electric Pump is used to make the Dual Line System automatic, along with the LUBRISYS Reversing Valve/Change Over Valve.

However, when the machine or crane is small and it is not possible to fit the complete system due to space and finance constraint, a LUBRISYS Manual Dual line Pump is used.

A LUBRISYS  Manual Dual line Pump has two outlets. The operation of the lever will make grease to flow from one outlet. In the lubrication system, the user will operate the lever, which will give grease to one line, he will continue till all the point in the system have received the grease from one side, once that is achieved a pressure will be developed and show on the pump. A small lever/knob is given on the front which will be required to be operated to give grease to the other line, this acts as a change over, only difference is that this is done manually instead of automatically.

Another option of a manual system without changing lines manually is by using a LUBRISYS  High flow high pressure pump and a LUBRISYS  Reversing Valve/ Change Over Valve, wherein the user will be required only to operate the lever, the changing lines will be done automatically by the LUBRISYS  Reversing Valve/Change Over Valve. While ordering in such a case it has to be mentioned that the pump required is for dual line as tank line will have to be provided to the pump to accommodate the grease given out of it’s tank line.
